Owen Taylor’s Beef is carefully selected from a handful of farms across the East Midlands. We work closely with the farmers to ensure quality, consistency and continuity of the supply chain throughout the year.
Owen Taylor Beef Specification
Heifers and steers, under 30 months of age. All cattle purchased will be from Farm Assured Farms.
Carcass weights will be 300 – 400kg
Conformation will be R to E
Fat Level will be 3 to 4L
Native and Continental Breed
Our beef is hung for between 14 and 28 days as carcass meat as part of the maturation process.
Because we purchase the whole animal we are able to cut to any specification required by our customers – you only have to ask.
