NIGHT SHIFT CATERING BUTCHER SUPERVISOR

Hours: Sunday to Friday.  52 hours (including 6 hours paid break).

Candidates must have previous experience in supervising a team ensuring that production levels are achieved. Good meat knowledge, knife skills with experience in portion control and stock handling is essential. Ability to use interpersonal skills to lead a team ensuring staff levels are maintained working in a safe productive environment.

NIGHTS ORDER PICKER

Hours: Sunday to Friday.  48 hours. Wage: Exceeds Nat Min Wage.

Must be age 18+ for night work. Food handling experience or a basic food hygiene certificate is preferred. Knowledge of meat also preferable. Duties will involve picking and packing meat produce in a catering and butchery business, you will be working alongside butchers. The employer has claimed an exception under the Equality Act 2010.

6 day per week or the option to work 5 days after training.

FOOD SAFETY MANAGER

Food Safety Manager required for catering butchery company.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role through a Hygiene, Quality or Technical management related position in the food manufacturing sector.

The role is to ensure the company meets all food safety legislation in line with the company’s food safety policy. This will include company HACCP’s, product specifications, supplier monitoring, microbiological testing etc.

The role incudes liaison with external auditing bodies such as Food Standards Agency, Trading Standards, EHO’s and auditing bodies.

The successful candidate will be qualified to Advance Food Hygiene Level 4 or be prepared to undertake the qualification.

The role is Monday to Friday 9-5 with some Saturdays throughout the year and additional hours when required. Wage is dependant on experience.

 

 

 

 

FULL TIME HYGIENE OPERATIVES

We have a vacancy for a Hygiene Operative. The successful candidate will be given full training on all aspects of the role. The role includes the following tasks:

Jet hosing, working with chemicals, stock rotation, following strict hygiene standards and a cleaning schedule, office, factory and machinery cleaning.

Working hours may be negotiable. The role is a 6 day week role (we can reduce to 5 days with a day off during the week if required) from Monday to Saturday. 

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 11.00 to 19.00 hours and Saturday 08.00 hours to 14.00 hours additional hours may be required.

Wages meet National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage

TEMPORARY FACTORY OPERATIVES

Hours: Monday to Friday between 07:00 / 09:00 and 14:00. Over 23 hours (inc 20 min unpaid break)

Duration: From Monday 3rd September until Friday 21st December. Could lead to a permanent Position

Wage: Meets Nat Min Wage (National Living Wage where applicable).

Key duties include assembling and packing of raw meat products. Candidates must be able to work in a cold and damp environment. Experience of working in busy production environment would be an advantage.

Temporary Hygiene and Bakery Operative

Wage: Meets Nat Min Wage / National Living Wage (Negotiable depending on experience)

Mon – Fri           09:00 – 17:00

Sat                      08:00 – 12:30

Previous experience cleaning of cooked food product areas is desirable. A basic food hygiene certificate would be an advantage. The job consists of helping out in bakery production area and high risk (cooked meats) followed by the cleaning of both areas followed by boxing of cooked pastry products.

Temporary Bakery Assistant

Wage: Meets Nat Min Wage / National Living Wage (Negotiable depending on experience)

Mon – Fri           05:00 – 15:00

Sat                      05:00 – 09:00

Previous experience in mixing and shaping of pies and pastries is desirable. Duties include production of bakery products, cooking products, cleaning of workspace and packing of cooked products. A basic food hygiene certificate would be an advantage.

Alternative experience in selling of different types of cheese and cured meats or operating industrial ovens would be a further advantage
