Owen Taylor & Sons scoops top award at Meat Management Award

Owen Taylor & Sons has won a top national award within the meat industry for the second year running. Being finalists again for the Catering Butcher Award the company was competing against other prestigious names from across the United Kingdom. The awards night was held on Wednesday 28th June at the Hilton metropole and presented by TV celebrity and comedian Miles Jupp. The Owen Taylor Team were thrilled when the win was announced. Two of the company’s products also did well with the 6oz Pork Ribeye Steak was a finalist in the Best Pork/Pigmeat category and the 6oz Lamb Cannon was highly commended.

Richard Taylor, MD of Owen Taylor’s said “I am delighted that we have won the prestigious Catering Butcher Award for 2017. To win this award two years running is a fantastic achievement and is great testament to the sustained efforts by our staff and suppliers enabling excellent delivery for our diverse customers.
