April 2008 – The Owen Taylor Huntsman Pie was crowned National Supreme Champion product of the show as well as its category winner of the Speciality cold Eating Pie. The Owen Taylor Huntsman Pie is based on the traditional pork pie casing recipe layered with chicken breast and topped with stuffing.
April 2008 - The Owen Taylor Steak and Ale Pie was given a gold award and 100 marks out of 100 in its category of Speciality Hot Eating Pie.
